Shipping Info
Shipping is via UPS ground. Any other means or carrier you will be responsible for any and all additional costs. We can no longer ship through SpeeDee.
Order date, product stock and transit time from us all determine which day we will ship out. Keep an eye on your email. You will get an order confirmation which will note that orders made between Friday and Thursday are usually shipped out the following Monday. If there are any delays with your order we will contact you as soon as we know. You will also get an email stating that a shipping label has been made, pay attention to the date on that email as that is when we will be shipping it out.
- We ship all frozen product in an insulated box with dry ice. The cost of the insulated box and dry ice is worked into shipping costs so if you would like to leave out the dry ice, please use code NoDryIce.
- We can fit up to 40lbs in one box. Because shipping charges seem to be calculated in brackets, you will be charged the same whether you buy 2lbs or 40lbs. To get the best cost per lb for shipping it is best if you buy at least 20-25lbs. It also helps prevent thawing when there is more product and less empty space in the box. We cannot guarantee the product won't be thawed during longer transit times when sending under 20lbs. We'd recommend adding extra dry ice or ice packs.
- Now, if everything in your cart is a non-frozen item except a 2lb bag of something frozen you will still be charged the entire box cost of the insulated box and shipping for that. We will package it all together, but keep the frozen item right on top of the dry ice. The non-frozen items will just be cold when they get to you.Please note some thawing may take place by the time you get your order. Because of the perishable nature of the product, we will not guarantee you will receive your order completely frozen upon delivery and will not refund once an item is purchased. It is perfectly ok to freeze and re-thaw to feed as long as thawing doesn't reach and sit at above 40 degrees. By submitting an order and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you release Simply Rawsome from this liability.
- We highly suggest considering an upgraded shipping method and insurance if you are a 4-day transit during the summer months. You can get a quote through the website before you check out, just pick that option and it will display the cost.
- It is up to the customer to be aware of any inclement weather or conditions that may prevent delivery. Shipping companies will not pay on claims for late deliveries related to weather or when they cannot deliver due to unforeseen conditions they have no control of. If something comes up after we've shipped out, please contact us immediately to find a resolution so we can make sure your shipment gets to you. Examples: hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, riots, ice storms, flooding, etc.
- If you purchase insurance and your delivery is late (not delivered on the scheduled day) and your product is not salvageable, we will submit a claim with UPS. Once the claim is approved, we will either refund or replace your EXACT same order, including the shipping.
- If you did NOT purchase insurance and your product is not salvageable, Simply Rawsome is not liable for replacement, refunds or credits for products or shipping costs. Shipping is not refundable or credited if your order arrives on time even if the product is non-salvageable.
- You will have 24 hours from the time your order was delivered to let us know if there are any issues. Contact us via admin@simplyrawsomeus.com as soon as possible. After 24 hours, all sales are final.
