Ordering & Shipping Guidelines
We recommend you create an account and log in every time you make an order. Reward points will be tracked that way and you will be able to go into your account and see what you’ve ordered in the past as well as see the order updates.
Local pick ups have no order minimum and no shipping/pick up fees. Please select which location you are picking up from, we will contact you with a reminder/confirmation the day before pick up day.
You must order a minimum of 20lbs for us to be able to ship. We will be especially strict about this in the summer months. We just want everything to make it to you still frozen or mostly frozen.
Your order will include an insulated cooler box within the shipping cost, however, you will have to add ice packs if you want them. We recommend adding ice packs if you are ordering less than 35-40lbs, especially if you have 1lb bags as those thaw the quickest.
Purchasing insurance on your package is also an option. $9 will cover up to $200 and $13 will cover up to $300. If you did not purchase insurance we will not be able to refund, replace or credit any order if it arrives late and/or damaged.
We only ship once a month, so please be aware of ordering deadlines and shipping dates. These can be found on our shipping/order calendar here, we also note them in our newsletter and on Facebook. Please place your orders by the deadline dates. This is to ensure your order will be filled and completed. Anything submitted late/after the deadline date we cannot guarantee it will ship on time. If you are ordering AFTER the deadline, please be aware your items are subject to availability only AND there will be a $25 late charge.
CHECK YOUR EMAILS or texts for any changes in your order prior to the week and weekend of shipping! Sometimes things are out of stock, the supplier sends the wrong product or not enough of a product. We will make every effort to contact with any changes and ask what you’d like to do. I will try to accommodate any changes. If there is no response, you will receive a gift card for that item.
Shipping is via UPS ground. Any other means or carrier you will be responsible for any and all additional costs.
If you are having any issues with carriers delivering to your area because of weather or any other causes that will not allow UPS to deliver, you must contact us immediately so we can reschedule your shipment if need be or find a resolution to get your shipment to you. Examples: hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, riots, ice storms, flooding, etc.
If you purchase insurance and your delivery is late (not delivered on the scheduled day) and your product is not salvageable, we will submit a claim to UPS. Once the claim is approved, we will either refund or replace your EXACT same order, including the shipping. If you require a faster service you will be responsible for the difference in price. Any deviation from the originally order will be at the customer’s expense.
If you did NOT purchase insurance and your product is not salvageable, Simply Rawsome is not liable for replacement, refunds or credits for Products or shipping costs.
Shipping is not refundable or credited if your order arrives on time even if the product is non-salvageable.
You will have 48 hours from the time your order was delivered to let us know if there are any issues. Contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. After 48 hours, all sales are final.
Please note that some thawing may occur by the time you get your order. Because of the perishable nature of the product we can not guarantee you will receive your order completely frozen upon delivery and will not refund once an item is purchased. By submitting an order and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you release Simply Rawsome from this liability.
We do suggest considering an upgraded shipping method and insurance during the summer months if you are a 4-day transit. You can see a transit map from UPS by clicking HERE, enter the shipping date noted on our shipping calendar (or any Monday) and 55016 for the shipping from zip code.
It is up to the customer to be aware of any inclement weather conditions that may prevent delivery. This would include, but is not limited to; hurricanes, tornadoes, riots, ice/snow storms, fires. Shipping companies will not pay on claims for late deliveries related to weather or when they cannot deliver due to unforeseen conditions they have no control of.
